Today is the last day for the Kerala Blogger Awards 2006 voter registration. I have extended the voting (not registration) for two more days since there are a number people yet to post verification code. So the voting will close on 17th March and no further polling will be allowed.

Here are some updates on the Kerala Blogger Awards 2006.
1. More than 100 voter registrations in 6 days.
2. Around 70 users are approved so far and 38 votes are polled.
3. http://jocalling.blogspot.com/ is leading with 11 votes and http://sonyvellayani.blogspot.com/ is closely behind at 10 votes. http://www.varnachitram.com/ is at the third position with 7 votes.

Yesterday Kerala Tips was down most of the time. This site is hosted on Dreamhost and their planned power outage turned out to be a disaster. Hopefully things are stable now!
BTW, I still consider Dreamhost to be a good Web host due to their honesty.

I have added a new directory of quality Kerala related blogs. English and Malayalam blogs are grouped separately and blogs are also categorized. The idea is to have a list of quality blogs at one place.

From today, Kerala Tips is hosting a Kerala discussion forum. The idea is to have quality discussions on topics related to Kerala only.
