Adi thettiyaal raashtrapathiyum veezhum (Kalam falls down onstage)

President Abdul J Kalam tripped and fell on the stage at the Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards, 2006. He was tripped by a walking stick used by one of the awardees(Manipuri scholar Khelchandra Singh) sitting in the dias. Kalam seemed unhurt and was in good spirits after the fall.
