Kerala Vyapari Vyavasai Ekopana Samiti has started the latest agitation against people of Kerala. From yesterday they have stopped selling cigarettes saying that they need more margin on the sale. It all started with the Yahoo copyright issue where a number of Malayalam blog posts were copied by Webdunia content team and it appeared on the Yahoo’s Malayalam portal. When this issue was reported, Yahoo promptly removed the content.

In 1975, Indira Gandhi declared Emergency rule in India which lasted for 18 months. It was very effective in bringing discipline at the time (for example, government employees used to report at office on time). I think we need something similar declared in Kerala (after imposing President’s rule).
