Kerala government has decided to extend community policing initiative across the state. This initiative was successful in bringing down armed robbery in mainy residential colonies. Whenever any new regulation is introduced by government, it invariably leads to corruption. The easiest way to reduce corruption is to reduce permits/approvals etc. required from government departments.
