Elephant kills 3 at Koodalmanikyam Temple

In a gruesome incident, 3 people were killed by an elephant at Koodal Manikyam temple (Irinjalakkuda). The elephant also caused extensive damage to the temple. The rampage continued for about 2 hours.
As you can see from the report, Police had a tough time preventing people from entering inside the temple. The following video is from Manorama News (via YouTube). Warning – It is graphic.

unbelievable,unbelievable, How many times does tragedies like this have to happen? Before anything is done. How many people die every year in Kerala,helpless victims of elephant rampages. What is needed in theses circumstances is a good hunting rifle (not mayaka marunnu you idiot keraka authorities LOL). Things like this don’t happen here in the U.S. thank god!! Reason being human life is more important here than animal life. Glad I left kerala years ago
