Sakkariya on the current political and social situation in Kerala

There are many writers and thinkers in Kerala. But most of them behave like pet dogs of political parties. Sakkariya is an exception and hence I am a big fan of him.
In the following speech (dubai indian consulate, october 18), Sakkariya looks at the political and social situation in Kerala. Some of his key points (including my comments),
1. How did the politicians who are supposed to be servants of people, transformed themselves to be the kings.
2. The big Kerala mafia (politicians and government employees) are torturing the common man. Corruption is official.
3. I live in trivandrum. As sakkariya says, police abuse people walking on the road when a minister’s car pass through (even when it is a so called people friendly communist minister!)
4. Take any government office in trivandrum. The idiots there are paid by us. But they treat us as dogs. My dear comrades, revolution is needed not against america, it is needed against government employees right here.
5. Consider the munnar demolition. You buy land following all legal requirements. You register land in your name, you pay the land tax etc. Finally someone comes and says whatever done is illegal under the new government. He rightly points out that this opens up a dangerous trend. Political parties can now torture anyone by twisting laws. What will happen if courts are also politicized?
6. He mentions the ISRO spy case. Everyone now knows that it was frabricated by politicians and some corrupt officials in the Kerala Government. The same is going to happen with the land issue in ponmudi.
7. He also points out how media is accelerating the degradation of the society and how talent in Kerala is getting out!

hi,
I found the questions r very relevant to discuss but my time doesnt allow me to answer all the questions. Let me briefly say the ruling govt has lost its credibility. they r found corrupted and against the devt of kerala especiall Kerala’s I T Sector. The law has been taken bY DYFI and our young generation is misled by communist party. members of DYFI BECAME STREET ROUDDIES. WE r unsafe to live in Kerala without being a member of communist party. U can sow any evil seeds if u r a member of communist party. it is part’s role to protect u and ur family.
I am scared even to visit kerala because i dont support the ruling govt. no govt is criticised by the court like this govt. they want people to be illiterate and poor. Then it is easy to exploit them. it is against the basis philosophy of communism. in short they dont bring devpts but someone comes forward to develop kerala giving better higher edn, employment opportunities, etc communist party will come agaist them if the party is not paid in advance.

The present left parties especially the CPM/I are more dangerous than any other factors in India.
The CPM constitute all antisocial elements who are against the common people to stay in peace.
They tried to project the Judiciary as a common enemy of people which is a very dangerous.
They are trying to project American Imperialism is the common enemey of Indians to bag votes. Actually Capitalism and Imperialism are different (common people cannot realise this trick).
They are trying to take the law and order situation in their hands making chaos and freightening the people to vote for them.
