Kerala to introduce dual law from 2008
June 17th, 2007
Note: This is an imaginary news item. But I expect it to happen anytime soon.
Government has decided to implement “dual law” system from 2008. Terming the decision as “revolutionary”, ruling party has pointed out that this is the first time in the history such a law is being introduced.
Dual law divides citizens into two categories. The first category includes “ordinary citizen” and the second category includes the “political ordinary citizen”. All the existing laws will be applicable to “ordinary citizen”. For “political ordinary citizen” many of the existing laws won’t be applicable. For example, “land law”, “criminal law” and “goonda law” etc. won’t be applicable for the “political ordinary citizen”.
Also provisions are made to protect “political ordinary citizen” from judicial “tyranny” and “media syndicate”. This means that any “negative” reporting or decisions against the “political ordinary citizen” will be punishable under “ordinary citizen” law.
Also “political ordinary citizen” will have complete control over government land. They can use it as they please, but “ordinary citizen” will have no right over it. If they do anything on government land it will be demolished.
“Political ordinary citizen” can abuse anybody which explicitly includes honest judicial officers, religious leaders and private companies. The only exception is when they also belong to “political ordinary citizen” group.
