Kerala – Idiot’s Own Country?

OK. I know the title is insulting to everyone including me. But I don’t care. I am too mad today. It is very difficult to be sane when you are living in Kerala and has got a working brain! Here is the news that made me real angry.
A set of idiots under the banner of PETA (The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) has started a campaign to ban eggs in Kerala! They claim that by eating eggs, we are eating unborn babies of the chicken!
“We are showing that eggs signify life and that we should not be eating eggs because chickens also feel the pain,” said Roshini D’Silva, PETA activist.
In fact mainstream newspapers including Malayala Manorama reported this with a photo of these idiots!
It might look like an attempt to get some media exposure. But in reality, this is part of the bigger issue. The logic is this – If I don’t like something, you shouldn’t do the same. For example, if I don’t like to drink alcohol, you shouldn’t! If I don’t like to watch FTV, you shouldn’t. If I don’t have girl friends, you shouldn’t.
There was a campaign against modernization of Trivandrum airport. As part of the modernization, government decided to install glass on the top of the airport building (similar to international airports). The rumour was that the glass glare will force everyone to wear cooling glass and hence the modernization program was driven by RayBan company! Can you believe it?

Indeed it is a very path breaking discovery that by eating eggs we are eating the unborn babies of chicken.
I have decided to quit eating eggs.
I have also decided to quit eating rice or any other unborn babies of plants and have formed an organization names PEPA. I would like to invite all the members of PETA to join my new outfit.

The media is to blame for giving unnecessary publicity to such idiocities. J.C.Bose has proves that plants can “feel pain, understand affection etc too. If they apply same logic to this, then these people shouldnt pluck flowers, eat any grains vegetables etc.
