“Brick Master” Laurie Baker passes away

Pioneer of low cost housing technology and master architect Laurie Baker passed away on Sunday morning. He was aged 90.
He had received many awards , including the Padmasree, the U.N. Habitat Award and International Union of Architects Award and Doctorate degree from the University of Central England, University of Kerala and the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
May his soul rest in peace.
