Kerala elephants to retire at the age of 65!

Kerala forest minister Binoy Viswam said in the assembly that government has decided to fix the retirement age for elephants at 65. Other elephant friendly initiatives are being taken up such as fixing work hours for elephants and guidelines on elephant transportation.
