Kerala based startup Torque wins $1 million funding

Torque is startup company operating out of Technopark, Trivandrum. It is small company started by 4 students of College of Engineering, Trivandrum. From Torque site,
Torque is a 360 degree wireless solution and service provider, leveraging a blend of rapid information delivery and communication streams.
Torque specializes in providing wireless messaging solutions which empower you to market and communicate directly to targeted audiences and service them through various messaging products and tools.
Within short span of time they have established as a leader in mobile based solutions. Recently they have received funding ($1 million) from Non Resident Indians. They plan to start “MobMe” which will focus on mobile media and entertainment.
