The vehicle bandh in Kerala
January 24th, 2007
From tomorrow onwards organizations such as all Kerala lorry owners association, all Kerala goods auto association etc. etc. has called for an indefinite strike against insurance premium increase. Yes, you read right - It is supposed to be indefinite!
Funny, that everyone else across India has called off the strike. Malayalees just can’t think about calling off a strike!
They are urging all vehicle owners to show support - translated it means “we will attack you if you take out your vehicle”.
I am still wondering why are we so stupid when our literacy rate is almost 100%?
