Customer satisfaction - The US Technologies way

US Technologies (formerly known as US Software) is one of the biggest software companies operating out of technopark, Trivandrum. What makes them unique is the way they welcome their foreign customers!
Here is what they arrange for the customers - A couple of elephants, thalappoli by malayali women in traditional dress and a grand pookalam (flower circle). This ensures that the customer is in an excited and bewildered state when he reaches the negotiation table

The objective is the “clients” should fall hook-line and sinker for the Kerala hospitality and rave and rant about our back-waters, our serene technopark dotted with coconut trees, the aesthetically done buildings (Nila, Bhavani etc), Malayali girls reeking of Jasmine smell and in crips sarees.
Add to it a ride on the houseboat in Alappauzha or Kollam and some Kerala cuisine (with Karemeen Polichathu and/or Fish Molly). The deal is won.
These are certain gimmicks which our companies employ to win some projects. Its by no means unfair, though
