Space university in Trivandrum?
January 15th, 2007
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will be setting up a space training centre in Kerala to meet the shortage of space scientists.
Speaking to reporters at Trivandrum, ISRO Chairman G. Madhavan Nair said the organisation was planning such an institute to be setup in Trivandrum. The proposed institute is expected to come up on the outskirts of the state capital on a 100-acre plot. It may be a similar institution like Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai.
